Yoga Beginner/Advanced Beginner

Mondays 6:00 p.m. with Tasha
Class is FULL for the Spring/Summer session.
Session runs May 24 - July 12 (no class on May 31)
$65 for the seven week session. 75 minutes.

This class is intended for the student who is familiar with the basics of yoga, and is ready to start working further into the rudiments of the asanas. Students are given a deeper understanding of the principles of alignment and balance, with beginning work on more challenging standing asanas (such as virabhadrasana III, ardha chandrasana), backbends, twists, and sarvangasana. Class structure and protocol depend on constitution and physical conditioning of students in class. Please bring a large blanket (Mexican-style or equivalent) to class with you.

Continuing Yoga

Tuesdays 6:00 p.m. with Tasha
Class is FULL for the Spring session.
Session runs May 25 - July 13 (No class on June 1)
$65 for a seven week session. 75 minutes.

This class is intended for the student who has a good understanding of alignment and balance in asana. We work to take the asanas to a deeper level with, for example, longer holds and more refined movements. Our practice will include strong standing poses, backbends, twists, forward folds, and the fundamentals of inversions (sarvangasana, sirsasana), as well as powerful breathing techniques and meditation. Please bring a large blanket (Mexican-style or equivalent) to class with you.

Thursday Evening Yoga

$55 for a six week session; $12 to drop in. 75 minutes.

This class is geared towards the beginner to advanced beginner. Students will enjoy a class environment that is comfortable, fun, and meaningful.

Melanie will be switching up the schedule later this summer and moving her Thursday evening class to Wednesdays. Check back here later in July to get more details.

 Pre-registration is required to attend class. Current students are given precedence for signing up, then any available spaces will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Please contact the respective instructor, Tasha Miller or Melanie Pankau, to inquire about available space, and, if applicable, to have your name placed on a waiting list for the next session. We have mats, blocks and straps available for your use during class (or feel free to bring your own).
