Low Intensity Zumba with Arturo is a slow-paced break down of traditional Zumba Fitness choreography with an emphasis on practical moves for older or novice student dancers to be able to execute. Whereas a regular class is an hour of non-stop dancing with no movement breakdown, Arturo’s Low-Intensity Zumba class is a step-by-step approach to learning the basic moves first as a group, and then dancing those routines together once memorization kicks in for a mellow, but effective slow-paced workout.
Warm up includes Tai Chi and slow-paced calisthenics, music is Latin based: Salsa, Bachata, and Merengue. A smile, good sense of humor, sweat towel, and a water bottle is highly suggested.
“Music inflames temperament.”
