Love to dance? Or, maybe you’ve always wanted to try it? The Delaware House in Milwaukee has a state of the art ballroom with beautiful floors, mirrors, high ceilings and an excellent sound system. It also has a lineup of some of the best independent dance instructors in the area, and no pressure sales or contracts.
Each dance instructor creates a fun, friendly environment where you can practice your new dance moves and become connected to a community of people who love to dance. Getting started dancing at the Delaware House is easy. You can simply show up to one of our group classes that are listed on the class calendar, no sign-up is needed. Or, if you are looking for a private lesson, you can browse the bios of our teachers and contact them directly to schedule your lesson.
Each dance instructor runs their own business at the Delaware House, offering both group and private lessons. As a student at the Delaware House, you can choose to take one lesson at a time or buy a package from your instructor. You can take lessons in ballroom, salsa, bachata, west coast swing, AfroLatin Dance Classes, Argentine Tango and Capoeira. In addition, once you have honed your dancing skills, you can attend one of the monthly socials or a practice party.
Mike Konkel and Sheli Schroeder, the teachers of the Milwaukee Rebels West Coast Swing Dance Club hold a practice party that varies every month. Jessica Wharton, a professional ballroom instructor, holds her ballroom monthly social on the third Friday of every month. And, Matt Woida and Betsy Guerrero, professional salsa/bachata instructors, hold their social on the first Friday of every month. Vlada and Guillermo, the teachers of TangoVida hold monthly Practicas and Milongas and you can check the Class Schedule for their events. Steven Antonson is the Delaware House Capoeira expert and you can attend his class on Saturday mornings at 10:00am.
