About the WSDC
Martin Cawston, one of the professional ballroom instructors at the Delaware House, is also the co-owner of the Wisconsin State Dancesport Championships (WSDC). This wonderful event is held every year in April at the Pfister Hotel in downtown Milwaukee (424 E. Wisconsin Ave., Milwaukee, WI 53202).
At WSDC, you can watch championship ballroom dancing live. This is a four-day event filled with exciting dancing at many different levels. During the daytime events you can watch amateurs of all ages dance with their professional dance instructors in the Pro-Am division. During the evenings on Friday and Saturday night, you can witness some of the top professional couples compete in the beautiful Pfister Ballroom.
About Martin Cawston
Martin, who has been dancing since he was 7 years old, has been a teacher here at the Delaware House for the past 11 years. He is active around the country as a Professional Coach, a Ballroom Judge and is also continuing to teach his ladies that are Pro-Am competitors.
